Gregg Hollander created borojo™ superfruit drink with his wife Laura in mind.

He realized one day that when it came to superfruit drinks, there weren’t many options for people like her—busy, active people who want a great-tasting boost of nutrition, health and energy that fits their healthy lifestyle.

Something 100% natural and organic, made with light, refreshing fruit and botanicals. Something that provided enlivening nutrition and energy from naturally occurring nutrients, enhanced with organic sweeteners that would accent--not overwhelm–its delicious, all-natural flavors.

While researching this idea, he came across an exotic, little-known superfruit called borojo.

Borojo fruit grows in the lush rainforest jungles of Central and South America, where it has been long-treasured by the indigenous peoples as a natural source of nutrition and energy. For hundreds of years, the rainforest natives have eaten borojo for fortitude and endurance before long journeys and difficult tasks.

It’s uniquely high in vitamins, minerals, polyphenols, and essential amino acids—perfect for quickly replenished, sustained health and nutrition.

Gregg was so intrigued he ordered some pulp concentrate, and quickly found that borojo has a delicious, tart flavor that blends beautifully with other juices, green tea, and yerba mate

Which is what he did—in individual water bottles at first. He and Laura kept them in their fridge to enjoy in the morning, to grab on their way to work or to the gym, and to share with friends and family. And when they eventually realized their little drink delivered on every level—flavor, ingredient integrity, and natural wellness—they took it to the next level.

Borojo Beverages, LLC was founded in Gregg and Laura’s hometown of Delray Beach, Florida with the corporate headquarters in nearby Boca Raton.
